Redistribution

EIGRP Named Redistribution is a feature in Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP) that allows network administrators to selectively and precisely control the redistribution of routes between different routing domains. This feature is facilitated by the named mode capability, where administrators can specify named route maps to define redistribution policies. Named redistribution provides a more granular and organized approach, allowing for specific control over which routes are redistributed and under what conditions. This enhances network flexibility, enabling administrators to tailor the redistribution process to meet the specific requirements of their network design. Task 1: Configure IPv4 EIGRP Redistribution using named configuration

Step 1: In the configuration mode of router configure 4 loopbacks with network address in sequence

R1:
interface loopback 101
ip address 101.101.101.101 255.255.255.0
interface loopback 102
ip address 102.102.102.102 255.255.255.0
interface loopback 103
ip address 103.103.103.103 255.255.255.0
interface loopback 104

Step 2: enter address-family interface mode and redistribute EIGRP routes in topology base configuration mode

R1:

redistribute connected
exit

Task 2: Verification:

Step 1: Verify route in neighbors router routing table by following command:
