Introduction

The Arista ACE Level 3 Campus Operations course is designed for network engineers and administrators who manage campus network infrastructure and are responsible for troubleshooting and maintaining campus networks.

This course focuses on Day-2 operational tasks including telemetry, monitoring, and troubleshooting of Arista campus networks. You will gain comprehensive skills in deploying and managing campus networks using CloudVision, operating both wired and wireless campus environments, and implementing campus security solutions.

Key areas of expertise you will develop include:

  • CloudVision Campus Operations: Deploy and manage CloudVision for campus environments, including provisioning, Studios-based management, and zero-touch operations.
  • L2LS & L3LS Campus Management: Operate Layer 2 and Layer 3 Leaf-Spine campus networks using CloudVision Studios with day-2 operational workflows.
  • Wireless Operations with CV-CUE: Monitor and troubleshoot campus wireless networks using Arista's CV-CUE platform, including AIOps, Wi-Fi visibility, and client troubleshooting.
  • Campus Monitoring: Build dashboards, manage events, leverage topology views, and monitor network compliance.
  • EOS Operations: Perform upgrades, monitor with SNMP/sFlow/LANZ, and troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
  • Campus Security: Implement Zero Trust with AGNI (network access control) and MSS (Macro-Segmentation Service) for comprehensive campus security.

Upon completion, participants can take an optional practical exam. Achieving this certification along with the Campus Engineering certification automatically grants the ACE Level 5 Professional - Campus certification. Alternatively, you may take the Professional exam directly.
