Course Introduction

The Cisco Certified Internetwork Expert Wireless (CCIE Wireless) certification assesses and validates wireless expertise. Candidates who pass the CCIE Wireless certification exams demonstrate broad theoretical knowledge of wireless networking and a solid understanding of wireless local area networking (WLAN) technologies from Cisco, the market leader in WLAN technology. CCIE wireless training covers (but is not limited to) the use of these topics: WAN fundamental, install wireless LAN, install wireless clients, implement basic WLAN security, operating basic WCS, WLAN Maintenance and Troubleshooting. CCIE Wireless certifications are valid for three years. The 640-722 CCIE exam is the exam associated with the CCIE Wireless . This exam tests a candidate’s knowledge and skills required to install, operate, and troubleshoot a small to medium-size enterprise branch network. The topics include all the areas covered under the 640-722 CCIE exam.
