The institute
Teaching engineers to run real networks since 1997.
RST Forum is a Mumbai IT training institute - racks in Dadar East, batches live online across India, and a catalogue that now runs from CCNA to building your own GPT.
RST Forum opened in 1997, when routing and switching was the whole industry and a lab meant a room with cables in it. Routing Switching Tigers Pvt. Ltd. - the name on the paperwork - started by teaching Cisco certifications to Mumbai engineers who needed to configure real gear, not read about it.
Nearly three decades later the racks are still here, and so is the method. What has changed is the catalogue: alongside CCNA, CCNP and CCIE sit cyber security, cloud, data centre, Linux, Microsoft, 5G, full-stack development, data analysis, DevOps and an AI engineering track where students build a GPT from scratch. More than a million engineers have trained with us, from Mumbai to Singapore.
We are not a video library. Every course is live and instructor-led, batch sizes are deliberately small, and an intro lecture opens each batch so you can see the trainer and the labs before you commit. That is the whole pitch: real teaching, real equipment, and people who answer the phone.

How we teach
Four things have not changed since the first batch.
Real equipment, not simulators
Cisco, Arista and Palo Alto hardware in racks you can hear running, plus virtualised fabrics and cloud accounts for the tracks that live there. Students break things and put them back - which is where the learning is.
Taught by working engineers
The people at the whiteboard are CCIEs and practising architects who spend their weeks on production networks and platforms. Course content gets corrected by what happened at work that month.
One batch, two rooms
Every batch runs in the Mumbai classroom and live online at the same time. Online students are in the same session with the same instructor and the same lab access - not a recording, and not a second-class version.
A catalogue that keeps moving
When Cisco renames a track, when Arista restructures its academy, when the industry decides every engineer now needs Python and an AI workflow, the syllabus changes that term. Nothing here is a decade old.
What we teach
Fourteen tracks, 200+ courses, all instructor-led. Start from the track, or from the career path you are aiming at.
The Dadar campus
3rd Floor, Sunshine Plaza, MMGS Marg, Gautam Nagar, Dadar East - two minutes from Dadar station, which is why students from across Mumbai, Thane and Navi Mumbai can make an evening batch after work.
Visit or call usAfter the course
The placement cell rewrites your resume around the labs you actually built, runs mock technical interviews, and refers you through an alumni network a million engineers deep.
How placements workFor companies
Team training at your office or ours, syllabi cut to your stack, and rack rentals for engineers who just need the hardware and a quiet weekend.
