Arista Networking - WAN Routing (MPLS Core)

Arista Networking - WAN Routing (MPLS Core) at RST Forum is a 35-hour instructor-led course (lectures plus hands-on lab practice) at advanced level. Classroom batches run at our Mumbai campus and the same batch streams live-online across India; the fee is ₹25,000.

  • Configure MPLS fundamentals including LDP sessions, label distribution, control plane and data plane tables on Arista devices.
  • Troubleshoot MPLS networks using route aggregation analysis, TTL propagation for loop detection, and IGP vs LDP convergence techniques.
  • Implement Layer 2 VPN services including E-Line with LDP pseudowires, multipoint L2 services, and EVPN VPWS.
  • Configure EVPN route types for L2 and L3 services including route type 2 (MAC-IP) and route type 5 (IP Prefix).
  • Deploy Layer 3 VPNs with MP-BGP, configure PE-CE routing with BGP, and implement overlapping, shared, and managed service VPNs.
  • Build MPLS RSVP-TE tunnels with dynamic and explicit paths, and implement FRR node-protection for tunnel resilience.
  • Configure segment routing fundamentals with IS-IS and understand the migration path from LDP-based networks.
  • Implement SR-TE policies with candidate path selection, color steering, and traffic engineering for service-aware routing.
  • Design and deploy MPLS Inter-AS scenarios for WAN connectivity with L2 and L3 services over MPLS-SR.
  • Build Data Center Interconnect solutions combining EVPN VXLAN data centers with MPLS-SR WAN transport.
